Those last days, those days were 'dresses and flip flop-days''. I loved it! I was sitting all the day long trying to get a tan (that unfortunately didn't work out..). So that's why I was less active on my blog -and I took a break from my running shoes-. But I've found a nice new wishlist for you where you can add a dress to your outfit. But then I check the weather forecast.. It's getting colder, AGAIN! So get your dress really quick, because Thursday is gonna suck! So maybe next time I should create a wishlist with rain boots :-(. But here you have my wishlist of these week, Safari Chic. Every summer you can count on the this trend will continue. This summer, Burberry Prorsum, created an outstanding collection, which also includes Safari Chic looks. But of course, it's Burberry. So not so affordable. But hé, it's a wishlist! So I added awesome high heels, with amazing colors from the collection. But the other items are kind of 'recession proof'. Enjoy!
From left to right:
1. A delicious cappuccino in my favorite cafe. It's like art, right? ;-)
2. Me and my friend Dick who brought me a little present from Paris! Haha, make a guess..
3. Yes, finally! There is sun! And there's loads of it! So bikini, welcome back!
4.There's no summer without a swimming pool :-)
5. My sunbathing partner in crime.
6. Love this print from my new dress!
7. New in, my Isabel Marant look-a-like sneakers from the Belgium brand March 23.
8. Between all those birthdaycakes I've had during these week, my mom made me a fruit salad :-)
Last year I've bought one of my favorites boots I have in my collection.. Kiboots! This dutch brand which was established in 2010, uses old Moroccan carpets in a original way. These colorful handmade boots were last year a booming trend. But believe me, this trend is going to continue. They opened already a concept store in Utrecht and they expanded they're collection of boots with three different models. And from next week on, they're going to sell a new t-shirt line (picture), designed by Joelle Boers in cooperation with Kiboots. Are you in love with this designs? Let me say I AM! My favorite? I'm totally in love with the skull, which I would definitely combine with my one-of-a kind red Kiboots :-)
Also one of my addictions which started last fall; statement necklaces! Perfect with a simple outfit for during the day or with a LBD while you're going out. I collected already quit a lot of them (I'll upload some pictures of my collection soon). Most of them are some good budget finds! Because if I have to choose between quality or quantity with these necklaces, I prefer quantity ;-) And I just got a temporally job (YES!), so I'm gonna make more money - ahumm - shopping money. And I think Zara is glad that they designed so many nice necklaces, because their number one customer is gonna get it all :-P
Yesss, I've got a H&M Fall/Winter 2012 lookbook for you! Ok, today is the actual first summer day with 28 degree Celsius - and I'm sitting in bikini writing this blog- , but although that, I can still dream of rain and snowflakes? I totally fell in love with this new collection! I can see the prints will continue in this collection, which I adore! I wish I could put my shoes on and run to the nearest H&M, but unfortunately we have to wait a little longer. Have a sunny Tuesday!
From left to right:
1. Lunch at Bijenkorf Amsterdam while reading the Britisch Vogue.
2. Balloons because I turned 18 last Monday (YES FINALLYYY)
3. My new bag I've got for my birthday. It stood for one month in my room, waiting for me to unpack it!
4. Love this awesome Jean Paul Gaultier Coca Cola Light bottle. A waste to drink it, right?!
5. Before I entered the kitchen: "Hurrah! 18... Finally full grown!!" Thanks mom ;-).
6. My neon earring that I bought at H&M two weeks ago, love it!
7. My Isabel Marant look-a-like jumper from River Island :-).
8. Eighteen peonies I've got, because of my 18 years. My favorites!
Already getting in the mood for candy? I do with this sugar rush. This new copycat is inspired by the spring collection of 3.1 Philip Lim. The 3.1 Philip Lim woman is cool, contemporary and utterly feminine. This brand, launched in 2005, has a lot of A-list fans including Kate Bosworth and Natalie Portman. I have to admit that I first didn't know the brand that well. But I did loads of Google-ing and I can so from now on: 'Wow!'. If I would love to add some items, especially this look. But first I have to found a job, otherwise it's never gonna work out. Or I just copycat it ;-).
Kate wants to get weight?! What's going on in here? As I remember, in November 2009, she got a lot of critics because of her -let me say- remarkable 'statement' which was: "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels".The whole fashion world was upside down because of that. But hé guys, models HAS TO BE skinny of the fashion world. And admit.. After a nice Christmas holiday, and you see yourself in the mirror, you like to see all those dinners you had with delicious deserts on your belly, hips and ass?! I don't think so.. But OK, let me continue which I was actually talking about. Kate Moss that actually volunteers to get fat. But there's a reason for this.. Kate Moss married last year in June Jamie Hince. And she wants a mini Kate or mini Jamie! Kate wants a little brother or sister for her nine-year-old daughter Lila Grace. And she thinks she has a better chance to get pregnant when she has more flesh on her bones. Which, if I may say, we all support! So.. When will we spot Kate eating her first bite of her double cheeseburger? Accompanied by a Diet Coke of course.
I was hoping to bring you a wishlist with a nice dress and sandals.. But unfortunately, the weather won't let me! It's still kind of chilly and rainy. Although there's no sunny weather yet, we just adjust the trends a little bit. Here's one of my favorite trends of this summer, the neon trend. It's easy to wear it now these days, because of the amazing jumper that I found on the website of River Island. Perfect for this weather, with the cold and the rain, but you're also up to date with the trends. I finished the outfit up with some awesome biker boots (budget find) with one of my favorite it-bags of the moment. The one from Proenza Shouler.
So, how can I say this without exaggerating? I'm a serious nail polish addicted person. Every time when I see a new musthave color, I just need to have it. There's some kind of an uncontrollable impulse that makes me buy it, because - this color orange is really different than the other orange one that I already have -. So that's how I came up with the idea of creating a post where I show every week one out of my collection. To kick of with this one: Chanel Blue Boy. I bought this one last fall in Boston (where I used to live for three months). This is one belongs to 'Les Jeans de Chanel'- collection, which exist out of three different kinds of blue. Awesome to combine, of course, with your favorite jean! I also have another one from this collection.. But you'll see that one another time.. ;-)
My new addiction: Loafers. No, not those old fashioned shoes that you see on old men which they have for at least thirty years in their closet. I'm talking about the new high fashion ones with amazing prints, studs and sequined loafers for us girrrrls! I spotted this trend a few months ago while I was seeing loads of street style pictures at www.lookbook.nu (which I also have an account!). And now a few months later, they are a huge trend! I'm the lucky owner of the khaki green fab loafers with heart studs. So, if you want a 'high heels off day', you can grab your loafers without a problem ;-).
I bet you recognize Missoni directly for it's knitwear designs, made from a variety of fabrics in colorful patterns. This iconic brand was founded in 1953 in Italy by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, which is nowadays still in the family.
But unfortunately Missoni is not affordable for everyone. I'm a lucky bastard that I have one thiny scarf, and there's where my collection with the 'Zig Zag' ends :-(. But but but! Nowadays they are -I don't wanna say 'fake'- but items inspired by the famous fabric. So I made a selection for you with one of my favorites for the summer. Enjoy!

This summer I'll go to a city well known as 'the Big Apple' or 'the City that never Sleeps'. Obviously I'm talking about NEW YOOORK CITY!! I can't wait! I was there last November with some friend for the weekend (because I lived in Boston for three months, and New York is for the Bostonians 'around the corner'). But now I'm going again with my best friends from Belgium and our two moms. Our moms told us: "Where gonna walk a lot, we mean a lot. So you should bring your running shoes.". - WHAT?! - If you would know how my running shoes look like you would totally understand why I don't wanna wear them in NYC. But, I find an alternative, that's actually really fashionable! New Balance Sneakers (which we're actually founded in Boston :-)). A lot of fashionista's were already spotted with this it-item. And I really tried to order it on several websites, but they're all sold out! So that says something about how popular they are. I'll keep you posted if I finally bought them and actually walked with them in New York!
- Huhh, did I miss something? - was my first reaction. Brad Pitt for Chanel No.5, for years already the best selling perfume in the world. It's not that he's not attractive or handsome, I mean Brad Pitt is handsome for a bunch of girls (maybe even boys) and it wouldn't be bad to drink a cup of tea with him. But I was talking about that the perfume, Chanel No.5 is a perfume for women with before this only women in it's commercials. Think about Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tatou for example. Brad Pitt has now the honor to kick this off with a commercial where he, as people say, will get $5 million dollar (!) for his acting skills. Rumour has it that it's gonna be filmed next week in London. - So who has already booked a plane ticket for London? -
Yes, I have a blog too and I kick it off with my wishlist! It might be already May, but I can't feel it YET. But of course, also in these depressing and horrible 'it's still not summer'-days I found my fashionable wishlist. My favorite one is the Isabel Marant look-a-like jumper from River Island, which I directly bought of course, and consider as my budget favorite of the list, maybe even of this spring! The rest of the outfit are for me 'timeless key pieces'. No-one can't survive without a good basic jeans, black suède pumps, a wayfarer and a timeless classy bag.
